LONGDING, May 4: Block Development Officer (BDO) Phefot Baham Murtem visited Niausa village to inspect the projects carried out under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Generation Act (MGNREGA) on Friday.
Out of the 12 selected beneficiaries under PMAY this year, the village achieved 100 percent of its target and completed them within the stipulated time.
The villagers also lauded the efforts of the BDO and Gram Panchayat Chairperson Jasa Manham for their active involvement.
Manham observed that the three kilometre link road, constructed by the villagers under MGNREGA is one of the best achievements as it would serve at least 27 houses. (DIPRO)
