ANINI, May 4: MLA Rajesh Tacho has directed government officers to disseminate information regarding various welfare schemes of the government to the general public to ensure its benefits reach all.
He was addressing the heads of department of the district during a coordination meeting held at the Panchayat Hall, here on Friday.
Taking strong exception to the fact that many of the officers do not stay at their posting place, the MLA directed them to stay in their respective posting place and take prior permission from the DC or DC-in-charge before availing leave.
Tacho also directed working departments not to submit schemes without prior consultation of the local MLA or alternatively suggested giving copy of estimate to local representative for further follow up of files or schemes.
He also instructed that schemes should be selected within appropriate budget of the government. (DIPRO)
