ITANAGAR, May 8: Parliamentary Secretary PWD and local MLA Techi Kaso on Tuesday assured residents of Donyi Colony, Lobi and Ganga village here that cement roads would be constructed in these areas.
However, he said these roads will be taken up by the contractor through tender process and work should be monitored by the local residents so that quality is not compromised with.
Kaso, along with several local leaders, was on a visit to Lobi area, Upper Lobi School, arterial roads of the area, Old Donyi Colony, RWD Colony and Ganga village.
Most residents had raised the requirement for good roads -either black-topped or cemented.
