ROING, May 19: Police here arrested a drug peddler with drugs during a raid on 17 May.
Two packets of suspected cocaine and ganja were recovered from the peddler, identified as Eko Meto. A drug addict himself, Meto was also allegedly involved in extortion activities.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him at the police station here, and meanwhile, the hunt is on for his co-peddler.
The police team was led by Town Magistrate Sanjay Taram and DSP Opir Paton. (DIPRO)
