ITANAGAR, May 28: Governor BD Mishra has congratulated Kishon Tekseng (from Yingkiong in Upper Siang district) and Taka Tamut (from Jomlo Mongku in Siang district) for scaling Mount Everest.
“The two mountaineers have displayed courage, spirit of adventure, and sagacity. They have proved that the youths of Arunachal Pradesh have great potential in all fields,” the governor said in a message on Monday.
He expressed hope that the two would motivate other youths of the state in becoming nation-class sportspersons.
The governor also commended the youth affairs department for facilitating the two mountaineers in their accomplishment. (PRO, Raj Bhavan)
