DOIMUKH, Jun 1: Environment & Forests Minister Nabam Rebia urged the youths of the state to take up self-employment activities in order to become self-reliant and become part of the state’s development.
Rebia said this on Friday after inaugurating a swimming pool in Mani village in Doimukh circle. He urged the youths to shoulder their responsibilities in developing the state.
The swimming pool, located along the Yupia-Potin stretch of the Trans-Arunachal Highway, is owned by local youth Techi Godem Tara.
Tara said the swimming pool area is equipped with modern facilities such as a local restaurant, facilities for music, and a restroom. Promoter Techi Godem Tara said more facilities will be added to it in the coming days.
Businessmen Teli Tada and RWD Executive Engineer Techi Jobae also spoke.
