NIRJULI, Jun 1: Thirty-one trainees took part in a 10-day training programme on piggery, which concluded at the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (APRB-RSETI)building here on Friday.
Organized by the APRB-RSETI, the programme was aimed at assisting unemployed and underprivileged persons in acquiring skills and knowledge of entrepreneurship.
During the valedictory function, APRB-RSETIDirector GK Deori advised the trainees run their piggery units with “passion and sincerity” in order to become self-reliant.
Among others, Apex Bank Managing Director Tsering Thongdok, NABARD DGM V Thirumacai, and NEMPDS president Taku Tapi attended the function.
