ZIRO, Jun 13: The All Niichi Niitii Youth Organisation (ANNYO) and Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society of Ziro conducted a mass destruction drive of cannabis plants within the periphery of Ziro valley, in close coordination with the district administration and district police on Wednesday
They succeeded in destroying a large number of cannabis plants in and around Ziro. The plants were then disposed off in the presence of EAC Mokar Riba and police personnel.
ANNYO president Bullo Babu also appealed to his counterparts and PRI members of Yachuli area to initiate such drives to curtail the menace of drugs in the district. (DIPRO)
