RUKSIN, Jun 27: Parliamentary Secretary and Pasighat West MLA Tatung Jamoh on Wednesday distributed TV set top boxes to 94 gaon burahs of different villages under his constituency at Niglok village.
Earlier, Jamoh distributed The TV sets, which were granted under the Chief Ministers’ Rural Information Scheme (CMRIS).
Jamoh urged the GBs to remain associated with the digital world and know what the state government is doing for the welfare of the people of the state.
During the distribution ceremony at the ADC office here in East Siang district, Jamoh urged the HGBs and GBs to maintain neutrality while disposing local disputes.
Describing the GBs as “village magistrates,” he urged them to never misuse their power.
He said the Pema Khandu-led state government is taking up more schemes for the welfare of the GBs of the state.
Meanwhile, gaon burahs of the constituency expressed their gratefulness to their local.
