TALI, Jun 28: The All Tali Area Students’ Union has sought the intervention of the director of secondary education (DSE) for making the EBB 100-bedded girls’ hostel of the government secondary school here in Kra Daadi district functional at the earliest.
In a representation to the DSE, the union said though the construction of the hostel has been completed, it remains unutilized “since the contractor is reportedly not in a position to hand over the building due to non-release of last installation of payment against the work executed.”
It urged the DSE to resolve the payment issue between the contractor and department within this month, so that the building can be utilized from the current academic session.
