ITANAGAR, Jun 29: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday inaugurated a computer training institute run by the Yuva Vikas Society under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).
“The PMKVY is an initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who wishes to see every youth in the country gain meaningful employment by acquiring skills,” Pema said after inaugurating the centre.
Underlining the importance of computer education, he advised the students to be sincere and focus on learning new skills and knowledge.
The institute is the second PMKVY training centre in the state capital. The CM said 27 such centres would be opened in the state.
As many as 60 students have enrolled for the three-and-a-half month long basic computer course. (CMO)
