ROING, Jul 14: Sixty-one party workers took part in a training programme on ‘Social media-IT’, organised here on Saturday by the Lower Dibang Valley district BJP unit’s social media cell.
“The programme was mainly based on government schemes, particularly digitalization and the Namo, BHIM and other apps,” informed the party’s social media-IT district convenor Arun Pertin.
Addressing the participants, Pertin highlighted the importance of social media, and dwelt on the policy launched by the central government for making Digital India successful.
The party’s social media-IT state convenor Vijay Sonam spoke about the use of social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other Digital India projects and government schemes.
Special training was imparted on the Namo app.
Among others, Parliamentary Secretary Gum Tayeng, former MP Laeta Umbrey, and state BJP Kiran Morcha vice-president Dature Miuli attended the programme.
