SILUK, Jul 16: The Silukian Welfare Kebang has requested the veterinary department to take steps to control foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) which it said has spread rampantly in the area.
“Cattle of Siluk is facing foot and mouth diseases in large scale and needs to be controlled by the veterinary department at the earliest,” it said.
Many cattle have died of FMD, it said, appealing for intervention by the department.
