ITANAGAR, Jul 18: A team of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF), led by its president Dobing Sonam called on the Capital Complex deputy commissioner on Wednesday and requested him to conduct awareness programmes on traffic regulations among school students, drivers and citizens, for smooth flow of traffic in the capital region.
Appreciating the district administration for formation of the district road safety committee (DRSC), the federation appealed to the deputy commissioner to give priority to awareness on traffic regulations among school students and common citizens of the Capital Complex.
Expressing its willingness to extend cooperation to the district administration in spreading traffic awareness, the organization also appealed to the DC to erect traffic signs near hospitals, schools and other important places in the capital region.
