Min urged to ensure private institutes comply with govt regulations

ITANAGAR, Aug 9: The Arunachal Law Students’ Union in a representation to the education minister on Thursday requested him to take urgent steps to ensure that all private educational institutes in the capital complex operate in compliance with the requisite rules and regulations framed by the government.
“Quality education and quality environment are two hallmarks of education which can only be achieved through quality teaching, availability of adequate infrastructure, and reasonableness in all other aspects,” the union stated.
It also called for strict inspection of the private schools to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations, and said it should be ensured that “rudiments like school fees structure, constitution of regulatory committee, sanitation, safety measures, physical education, etc” are maintained according to the norms.
