TAWANG, Aug 31: The All Tawang District Students’ Union (ATDSU) in a representation to the chief secretary on Friday expressed resentment over the delay in submission of report by the two-member committee which was constituted to inquire into allegation of issuance of ‘false’ ST certificates to three persons.
In its representation, the union also demanded cancellation of the ST certificates issued to the family members/offspring of one late Nawang Dondup, stating that they are not bonafide citizens of Tawang.
The ATDSU alleged that Lobsang Dhargyal, son of late Nawang Dondup, is a refugee/green card holder (IN9002011) while the family members of one Yeshi, the eldest son of Nawang Dondup, have obtained ST certificates from Lhou village without the consent of the goan burah, and without police verification.
It said documents supporting the union’s claims have been submitted to the two-member committee.
