ITANAGAR, Sep 2: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Janmashtami.
The governor expressed hope that the day would “reinforce the practices of honesty, fair play, helping the weak and supporting the distressed,” and promote the ideals of peace, amity and goodwill.
The CM in his message said: “Let us imbibe Lord Krishna’s message of love, compassion, oneness and pluralism, and work together to take our state forward,” and wished happiness and prosperity to the state’s people. (Raj Bhavan and CMO)
