ITANAGAR, Sep 6: Bengia Dongro, who was serving as Legal Metrology & Consumer Affairs (LM&CA) Inspector in Daporijo, passed away here on 5 September after a brief illness.
Dongro, who had joined the LM&CA department in 2006 as inspector, had served the department for over 12 years and was posted at Seppa, Miao, and Daporijo.
In a condolence message, LM&CA DCLM Daro Marbom deeply mourned the officer’s demise and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. He recalled Dongro as a sincere, dedicated and hardworking officer, and termed his death a great loss to the department.
