CHANGLANG, Sep 8: Changlang Deputy Commissioner RK Sharma on Saturday directed all the departments in the district to adhere to the prescribed norms and achieve set targets on time.
Chairing a coordination meeting with HoDs and other officials here, the DC emphasized on proper understanding and knowledge of innovative monitoring tools to ensure transparency in the implementation of projects.
The meeting was also attended by MLA Tesam Pongte, ADC (HQ) N Wangjen, District Planning Officer S Timba, and DRDA PD Talo Jerang.
Centrally-sponsored schemes pertaining to all the major departments, along with the chief minister’s flagship programmes, were discussed in detail during the meeting.
The MLA advised the stakeholders to be proactive in all spheres to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the grassroots level. (DIPRO)
