KHIMYANG, Sep 11: The Changlang district administration conducted its fourth ‘Prashasan aapke dwar’ programme in remote Khimyang circle recently.
During the programme, the election department presented a demonstration on the functioning of the VVPAT, while the statistical department generated 59 Aadhaar cards for the beneficiaries, and the Apex Bank branch helped 30 customers open zero-balance accounts.
Many other departments also attended the programme and provided services to the people.
Changlang South MLA Phosum Khimhum distributed free LPG connections to 14 beneficiaries under the Ujjwala Yojana and LED TVs to six GBs under the Chief Minister’s Rural Information Programme.
He expressed hope that the programme would serve as a boon for the villagers who are unable to go to the district headquarters to avail of government services. (DIPRO)
