KOLORIANG, Sep 13: Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner Santosh Kumar Rai has directed M/s TK Consortium to carry out repair and maintenance work on the dilapidated stretch of the road from Pungrung to Old Town here under the ongoing Joram-Koloriang Trans-Arunachal Highway project.
Addressing a meeting here on Monday, the DC also directed the construction agency to install and maintain safety barricades, signboards, markings, etc, for the safety of the commuters passing through the section of the road which is being widened.
The representatives of the firm on their part assured to start maintenance work on the road from October.
