ITANAGAR, Sep 22: The training of in-service teachers of the government schools of the capital complex concluded at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre (DKCC), the SCERT, and Holy Cross School here on Saturday.
The training at the DKCC and the SCERT was organized in collaboration with the Azim Premji Foundation.
Capital Complex DDSE Mallo Yam Gollo lauded DC Prince Dhawan, under whose initiative the training was organised.
“Teaching is a noble profession, and one should work with passion, so that one can do justice to their role,” she said.
Although the teachers are highly qualified, there might be some lacunae in doing their duties effectively, which is affecting the performance of the schools, the DDSE said, and urged the teachers to work with zeal and motivation to improve the overall educational scenario.
Planning coordinator JP Bagang described the role of teachers as “multidimensional,” and expressed hope that the training covered all the main aspects of teaching, and that the teachers would now work with “new zeal and motivation, which would definitely help improve the performance of the students.”
Certificates were awarded to all the teachers who participated in the training. (DIPRO)
