TEZU, Sep 23: The Dibang Adi Students’ Union in collaboration with various organizations of Lohit and Anjaw districts organized a candlelight march in memory of Arun Modi, whose dead body was found floating in a water tank near the botanical garden here on 16 September.
People from all walks of life participated in the march, which started at the place of the incident and culminated at Gandhi Chowk, where the mourners, including leaders of the ACWS, CALSOM and AdiSU, expressed shock over the mysterious death of Modi and urged the district administration to ascertain the actual cause of death as soon as possible.
Organisations such as the Dibang Students’ Union, AMSU, AMWWS, ALDSU, AAPWU, etc, also participated in the march. (DIPRO)
