CCFC, TUFC, MFC sail into qfs
NAHARLAGUN, Sep 24: Capital Complex FC sailed into the quarterfinals of the Eagle Football Championship along with Todo United and Model FC on Monday.
Capital Complex scored three goals in each half, started by Karli Ngomdir in the fifth minute, to demolish Nyapin FC (6-0), and became the first team to advance into the last eight.
In another group match, Todo United defeated Model FC 3-0.
Despite the loss, Model FC made it to the last eight along with group winner Todo United, as the pool comprises two teams only.
Todo United scored through Mihin Pulu and RD Karma (two goals).
Sagalee FC will take on Bamang Taji FC in the first match on Tuesday at 2:30 pm. The second match will be held between Gora Makik SC and APP.
