AOP for next financial year approved
PASIGHAT, Sep 26: East Siang Deputy Commissioner cum DRDA CEO, Tamiyo Tatak has called upon the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) officers to use government fund judiciously for the next financial year.
Addressing the 51st governing body meeting of the East Siang DRDA here on Wednesday, the DC insisted that the DRDA chalk out planning and programme for wellbeing of the rural poor and creation of livelihood assets.
Reviewing the physical and financial achievements of projects and schemes under the DRDA, the DC lauded the agency for successful implementations of all the schemes/projects and flagship programmes.
He also asked the DRDA functionaries to maintain the tempo and spirit for betterment of the rural people in the district.
Earlier, DRDA Project Director Sibo Pasing presented the annual report. He urged all to work hard for improvement of living standard of rural poor and advised the officers to maintain transparency and quality while implementing the schemes.
The annual action plan (AOP) presented by the all the BDOs was also unanimously approved by the house for the next financial year. (DIPRO)
