PAGLEK, Oct 1: The East Siang district administration removed the concrete and chain-link fences of 16 houses on the compound of the upper primary school here during an eviction drive it carried out on Monday.
The eviction team was led by ADC Tatdo Borang, Executive Magistrate Henkir Lollen, DLRSO Ojing Nangkar and other officers amid tight security.
Borang said the eviction drive was necessitated as the encroachers had ignored the show cause notice and the ‘self demolition notice’ the administration had issued earlier. (DIPRO)
