CHIMPU, Oct 2: The 3rd Paralympics Games organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Paralympics Association at the APP Bn ground here concluded on 30 September.
Arunachal Olympics Association senior vice president Gichi Doke and Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) director Gunnya Karbak also attended the two-day event featuring shot put, long jump, walking race for the blind, arm wrestling, 400 and 200 mtrs race, etc, in both men’s and women’s categories.
Karbak gave assurance that the SAA would allocate Rs 50 lakhs to organize the ‘Paralympics Game Khelo India’ events in other districts of the state also.
