CHONGKHOW, Oct 4: Pheka Wangcha, the queen of Chongkhow village in Wakka circle of Longding district, passed away at around 1 pm on Thursday at the age of 85-plus years.
Wangcha was born the princess of the Khanu village chief, and was married to the 6th chief of Chongkhow village, late Lowang Wangham.
The people of Chongkhow, Wakka, and Khanu areas, including former Wakka ZPM Matpho Kolong, have mourned the queen’s demise.
