PASIGHAT, Oct 8: Members of the Eagle Welfare Association (EWA), the founder of the Eagle football tournament, planted 100 Ashoka saplings at the outdoor stadium here on Monday during a drive themed ‘Green Arunachal’.
Sports Director (and EWA president) Tadar Appa and Sports Secretary General General Jamoh led the EWA team.
The UD department’s Pasighat division Deputy Director PK Thungon, UD UPO Kaling Dai, and East Siang DSO Nada Apa, along with students, scouts and guides also participated in the programme.
