DHANBARI, Oct 11: Twenty-eight farmers and farmwomen attended a training programme on ‘oilseed production technology and importance of cybernetics and Kisan app’ organised here in Anjaw district by the KVK on Thursday.
Subject matter specialist Khoisnam Naveen spoke on the uses of different oilseed crops, and on toria oilseed cultivation for higher production. He also highlighted the importance of soil testing for evaluating available soil nutrients.
Programme assistant Keshab Ch Gogoi informed the trainees about the uses of the NE Kisan app, stressing on the use of offline mobile Kisan app for solving agricultural-related problems.
Later, toria seeds (TS-38 and TS-46) were distributed among the farmers.
