ITANAGAR, Oct 14: Five candidates qualified in the airmen recruitment rally held here at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College and Dera Natung Government College on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 137 candidates turned up for the rally out of which five candidates qualified the final test and were recommended for medical tests.
These five candidates will also need to qualify in the final list at all India level before finally joining as airmen in the Indian Air Force, as informed by the Indian Air Force recruitment team.
The recruitment rally has been organised by the Indian Air Force and the Capital Complex administration provided necessary assistance with respect to logistics to encourage more candidates to participate in it.
Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan has requested more candidates to appear in next such rallies, as when such recruitments are held outside the state, many candidates lose opportunity to appear due to various reasons.
He further added that such rallies are held exclusively for the candidates of the state and everyone should take advantage of such an opportunity. (DIPRO)
