ITANAGAR, Oct 21: Extending solidarity with the Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP), the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) strongly criticizedthe Pema Khandu-led BJP government for threatening the agitators to impose President’s Rule (PR) in the state.
“With this, Pema Khandu is abusing the rights of working class for his radicalized political gain,” the Congress alleged, adding that “We are not surprised to hear Khandu warn of imposing President’s Rule during an official meeting recently at Kalaktang because he became CM without public mandate and obviously his government is destined to fail”.
The APCC also said, “The CoSAAP agitators are not criminals. The CM does not leave any occasion to humiliate and threaten them with dire consequences. Such arrogance is not expected from the head of the state. Khandu is creating conflict between working class and ruling class by sabotaging the rights of labour and benefits of Aam Admi.”
