TAWANG, Oct 22: Preparations for the much-awaited Tawang Festival 2018, which begins on 26 October, are on in full swing.
Festival director Tsetan Chombey informed that the theme of the festival this year is ‘Save nature, protect environment’.
He said a marathon race from Tawang Monastery to the war memorial, themed ‘Run for nature’, will also be organized under the sponsorship of local MLA Tsering Tashi, as a prelude to the festival.
Besides Mohit Chauhan and other Bollywood singers, artists from
Bhutan and Nepal will also perform during the festival, Chombey said. (DIPRO)
