DAPORIJO, Nov 5: Officers of the health department, along with ASHAs, ANMs and other stakeholders participated in a meeting of the Upper Subansiri district task force for immunization on the 2nd round of Mission Indradhanush (MI), chaired by DC Danish Ashraf here on Monday.
The DC instructed all the stakeholders, specially the women & child development department, to work in coordination with the health department during the preparation, implementation and reporting phases of all the rounds of MI, which started on 22 October and will last till December 2018.
Ashraf also asked the medical officers of all the blocks to stay in touch with their respective CDPOs/supervisors for better coordination, and advised the ASHAs, anganwadi workers and ANMs to seek to achieve 100 percent immunization coverage of the targeted 0-2-year-old dropped-out and left-out children and pregnant women who are due for vaccination.
He also called for ensuring extra effort in making household survey, due listing, and head count.
DRCHO Dr Gamik Hangkar presented a brief on the household survey and due listing to be carried out in the villages for the dropped-out and left-out children aged between 0-2 years and pregnant women due for vaccination.
All the BDMs were asked to upload the reports in the HMIS and submit the reports on time to the district headquarters.
