NAHARLAGUN, Nov 10: State BJP vice president Tame Phassang has denied rumours of a rift between the party’s leaders.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Techi Takar Multipurpose Community Hall at G Sector here on Saturday, Phassang said, “The BJP is a party with discipline. I will support whoever gets the party ticket; and if I got a ticket, I would definitely run in the race.”
Phassang urged the people not to forget the contributions of former chief minister later Kalikho Pul in constructing the community hall and setting up other infrastructure in G Sector. He also advised them to maintain cleanliness in the area.
Local MLA Techi Kaso, who earlier inaugurated the community hall, urged the residents to properly maintain the auditorium. Responding to a memorandum, he assured to allocate fund for setting up a water plant in the area.
