PANGIN, Nov 13: Siang Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Takuk on Tuesday advised the district’s progressive farmers to set up farmers-producers organizations (FPO) for their own development.
Addressing farmers and officials during a meeting on the CM’s Krishi Samuh Yojana and Sashakt Kisan Yojana, organised by the District Agricultural Development Society here, the DC stressed on scheme-based action plans, and urged the participants to “adopt a practical approach towards planning and focus on qualitative realization and not merely on financial targets.”
He also directed the departments concerned to start preparing preliminary estimates pertaining to their respective departments, and to prepare their annual action plans within 12 days. (DIPRO)
