ITANAGAR, Nov 20: Students of government and private schools participated in inter-school essay writing and drawing competitions on ‘gender-based violence and issues’, organised by the Indo-Global Social Service Society at the Don Bosco Youth Centre here from 19 to 20 November.
In the government schools category, Government Secondary School, Chimpu, was adjudged the winner in both the competitions, followed by Government Middle School, Lorputung.
In the private schools category, Ayush Deb (class 9, VKV Itanagar) emerged the winner in the drawing competition, followed by Tisha Chakroborty (Vivekananda Central School) and Yorda Mosmi (Auxillium Secondary School, Gohpur) in second and third positions, respectively.
In essay writing, Vivekananda Central School emerged the winner, followed by VKV Itanagar and Auxillium Secondary School in second and third positions, respectively.
