ITANAGAR, Nov 22: The All Kamle District Students’ Union has sought a status report from the PWD central zone (A) chief engineer on the delay in completing the Tamen-Dollungmukh NEC road project.
The union had earlier submitted a representation to the deputy chief minister, who is also the PWD minister, demanding a status report on the project.
Stating that the 107-kilometre road project was sanctioned in 2010 with a fund of Rs 13,962 lakhs from the North Eastern Council, the union said it remains incomplete eight years after it had been sanctioned, and sought the DCM’s intervention in the matter.
