LEKHI, Nov 23: Twenty-three children and 36 adults benefitted from a health camp organized at Lekhi village in Papum Pare district by the students of Rajiv Gandhi University’s (RGU) social work department on Friday.
The village has been adopted by the NSS unit of RGU.
During the camp, which was launched by former gram panchayat chairperson Tana Tala, the patients were screened under the supervision of TRIHMS dermatologist Dr Swapan Majumdar.
Headmaster Nabam Vijay and assistant teacher Nabam Yapi along with NSS programme officers coordinated in conducting the camp.
