PASIGHAT, Nov 27: Over 25 extension functionaries of the agriculture and allied departments from different parts of the state are participating in a three-day training programme on ‘Recent advances in agricultural technologies for doubling the farmers’ income’ which began here in East Siang district on Tuesday.
The programme is organised by the State Agriculture Management and Extension Training Institute here.
During the inaugural session, College of Horticulture & Forestry Dean Dr BN Hazarika advised the participants to disseminate among farmers the knowledge they would gain from the training.
Agriculture Assistant Director Sengo Dini, Drs M Pathak, L Wangsu and P Raja, and ADAs D Moyong and T Jerang are the resource persons of the training programme.
