ITANAGAR, Nov 28: State’s long distance runner Mudang Omo won the third position in the men’s open category of the Petro run 10K Challenge organized by Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi on 25 November.
Kenya’s Amanvel Abdu Aljyu and Delhi’s (India) Santosh Shah took the first and second position respectively.
The event aimed at raising public awareness about energy conservation and protecting the environment.
It is worth mention that Omo had won silver medal in 10 km race the first NE Olympic Games, which was held in Imphal, Manipur last month.
