Mass rally,quiz and rural sport competitions held to create awareness on SBM

BOMDILA, Nov 28:Events like mass rally, quiz and rural sport competitions and meetings were held as part of thefield outreach bureau, Bomdila unit, Ministry of I & B, GoI organized special outreach programme on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan held at Kaspi village here on Wednesday.
The programme was held in close coordination with PHED Tenga and former Panchayat members of Kaspi village.
Speaking on the occasion, Bomdila FPO, FOB, Pem Tsering informedthat Kaspi village has completed Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) and declared as an Open Defecation Free (ODF) village.
Tenga, PHED Junior Engineer, SN Maurya who attended as a resource person, informed that Kaspi village has completed Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) and declared as an Open Defecation Free village. He also informed the villagers that Solid Liquid Waste management will be constructed at their village in the current financial year with a total cost of Rs.7 Lakh under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) by the PHED Bomdila.
Former ASM of Kaspi village Bordolai Mosbu said that the people of Kaspi village will be benefited a lot from such awareness campaigns and requested the villagers to use and maintain the toilets properly and to keep surroundings neat and clean.
Similarly,Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) GoI, Ministry of I & B, Pasighat on Wednesday, also organized a rally-cum-awareness programme and swachhta activities under the banner of Special Outreach Programme on Swachh Bharat Mission at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pangin of Siang district.
Speaking as resource person on the occasion, PHED Assistant Engineer, Pangin Osem Mongku appealed to the gatherings to keep their domestic animals like cattle in a separate shelters and build bamboo fence around their houses to prevent animals from roaming in the open.
Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Pangin principal, Gogon Panor and Pasighat FPO, FOB, Mihir Kumar Jha also spoke on the occasion.
