CHANGLANG, Nov 29: Addressing a meeting of Financial Institutions, Deputy Commissioner R K Sharma has stressed on recovery of bank loans from defaulters while assuring the help of the administration in effective recovery process.
He directed the banks to sanction all Govt sponsored loans expeditiously to achieve their annual target and also stressed on conduct financial literacy camps in all circles for extensive coverage.
Speaking on security issues, the DC advised installation of CCTVs at vital locations. He also called for installation of ATM booths wherever Possible and operationalization of customer Service Points and e-Corners for benefit of the Public.
He further directed all Banks to mandatorily submit monthly progress for monitoring and assessment.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Manager, Lead Bank Dibrugarh, ADM RBI, administrative of the district.
