NAMSAI, Dec 5: The Namsai unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has carried out a rally demanding facilities including teachers at Govt Higher Secondary School, Lathao.
ABVP has in a memorandum to the Lathao Circle Office on Wednesday, demanded early posting of senior subject teachers against GHSS, Lathao.
The organization has claimed that the GHSS, Lathao does not have adequate teaching staffs since 2009 due to non-posting of senior teachers despite repeated requests to the concerned authority which hampered the classes for secondary, middle and primary sections.
“The senior section (class XI and XII Humanities) is presently being run by junior teachers and some SSA teachers without any extra payment or any allowance since 2009 due to non-posting of senior teachers repeated requests to the concerned authority. As such, classes for secondary, middle and primary section get hampered. Even after the school’s upgrade, five correspondences have been made with the concerned authority for immediate posting of specialized teachers but no action has been taken till date,” it claimed.
