NAHARLAGUN, Dec 10: Odisha became the second team after host Arunachal Pradesh to advance to the Hero Sub-Junior NFC 2018 semifinals from Pool A.
Arunachal went down fighting 0-1 to Odisha in their last group match played under floodlights at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on Sunday.
Odisha scored the winner in the 81st minute through Ajay Toppo.
The host team has already booked its semifinal berth with three wins.
Earlier, Punjab defeated Maharashtra 3-1 in the first match of the day with goals from Seilenthang Lotjem (18th and 42nd mins) and Karan Singh (63rd min).
Mustafa Shaikh netted the lone goal for his team, Punjab, in the 24th minute.
Goa will meet Haryana in the first match on Monday at 2 pm, before Mizoram takes on Jharkhand at 6 pm.
