ITANAGAR, Dec 11: Preparations are afoot to hold the third state level Hangpan Dada Memorial Football and Volleyball Trophy tournaments at Lohit HQ Tezu from 7 January, 2019, informed Sports Director Tadar Appa.
The tournaments are held for both men and women from the block levels. The winners of the block/constituency level competitions then compete in the district level, followed by the state level competitions.
The finals of the tournaments coincide with the Statehood Day celebrations every year.
The district and block level competitions are currently underway in various districts.
Meanwhile, DIPRO reported that the constituency level and district level tournaments in West Siang district will be conducted from 15-29 December.
