ITANAGAR, Dec 17: The All Kurung Kumey District Students’ Union (AKKDSU) in a representation to the State Bank of India’s (SBI) regional manager here on Monday requested him to take urgent steps to restore banking facility at the SBI’s Koloriang branch.
“The lone SBI branch in Koloriang has not been functioning for the last several months due to malfunction of the machines, causing much hardship to the customers,” the union said.
It threatened to resort to democratic action if its request is not met within a week.
