NAMSAI, Dec 21: Kurung Kumey bounced back strongly in the second match, thumping tournament debutant Lower Siang 7-0 in the 17th Tadar Tang State Level Football Championship here on Friday.
Passang Tama scored a hat-trick of goals in the 23rd, 57th and 67th minutes after Biri Pada opened the account for Kurung Kumey in the sixth minute.
Tame Agung (50th min) Gyamar Apa (61st min) and Paney Kuna (70th min) also scored a goal each for the winning team.
Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) registered their second straight win in the championship, defeating hosts Namsai 1-0.
Liki Nirin scored the winning goal in the 23rd minute.
APP had beaten Lower Siang 4-0 in their first match.
