ITANAGAR, Dec 24: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Christmas.
“The true spirit of Christmas reflects dedication for helping those in need, for giving hope to those in despair, and for security to those who have been uprooted,” the governor said in his message.
Pema in his message urged the people, irrespective of religious affiliations, to “remember those who, in their own ways and capacities, make the world a better place to live in but are least thanked.”
“This Christmas, let us bring joy to others with an act of kindness,” he said.
The two expressed hope that the festivities would spread the message of the benevolence of Jesus Christ and usher in peace, love and amity throughout the state, the nation and the world. (Raj Bhavan and CMO)
