State women’s handball team leaves for M’rashtra

ITANAGAR, Jan 3: An 18-member women’s handball team from Arunachal Pradesh left here for Maharashtra on Tuesday to participate in their maiden Senior Women National Handball Championship to be held in Solapur from 6 to 11 January.
A 10-day coaching-cum-training camp was held for the selected players at the Chimpu GSS ground, informed Arunachal Handball Association secretary Nabam Lera.
He advised the players to maintain discipline and team spirit and concentrate on the game to become successful players.
Neelam Tagi and Siddharth Barman are the manager and the coach of the team, and Likha Ame is the captain.
